The Tops Team at Whimsical Dart

We are not dart champions. In fact, some days we’re not even particularly good…and that’s part of the point.

What we do share is a deep appreciation for the simple enjoyment of throwing darts and a fascination with the way the game can reflect something back to the person throwing. Focus, frustration, confidence, patience, distraction, determination, humor - somehow, it can all show up at the board.

We are all learning how to be human in a world that can feel busy, noisy, lonely, and sometimes harsh. We believe darts can offer a small but meaningful antidote: a reason to slow down, focus on something right in front of you, laugh at yourself, try again, and spend time alongside other people.

Our backgrounds are in the hospitality and therapeutic fields, where we have had the privilege of helping people enjoy themselves, discover their potential, build relationships with others, and cultivate a deeper sense of self. Those experiences naturally found their way into The Whimsical Dart.

We love throwing darts with our spouses, sharing good food, learning new things, meeting interesting people, and finding inspiration in unexpected places. We don’t believe you have to be great at darts for darts to be good for you. 

Sometimes, you just have to throw.

Our Mission

The Whimsical Dart is dedicated to preserving the history and teaching the art of dart throwing as a pathway to community, connection, and personal grounding, growth, and empowerment. We believe darts is more than a game—it is a shared experience that fosters emotional presence, authentic confidence, and meaningful relationships.

Through inclusive outreach and the sharing of diverse narratives, we welcome individuals of all backgrounds, abilities, and experience levels—illuminating how darts can live within and enrich every community. Our work extends to restoring dartboards and revitalizing playing spaces, honoring the tradition of the sport while deepening appreciation for its cultural and social value.

We offer personalized dartboards and thoughtfully curated environments for both home and public spaces, alongside one-of-a-kind dart holders that celebrate individual expression. Through our Relational Dart Program, we provide a personalized, guided, step-by-step approach to the fundamentals—integrating technique, breath, focus, and supportive resources to encourage growth at every stage. This program serves individuals, families, communities, corporate professionals, and frontline workers who support and strengthen our communities.

We believe darts can help us access and express our truths—offering a way to understand how we feel, to be present with our thoughts and emotions, and to connect authentically with ourselves and others, with or without words.

At its core, The Whimsical Dart exists to ensure that dart throwing remains accessible, enriching, and welcoming to all—across ages, identities, and levels of experience.
